Paediatric Assessment
Half Day Course

 

This course will be facilitated by Kev Hubbard RN, MSc, BSc, PG DIp, PG Cert. ALNP, an RCN accredited advanced Level nurse practitioner and paediatric nurse with over 25 years of clinical experience.

 

During this  interactive online course, the emphasis will be the assessment of children in primary and triage facilities whilst using a systematic approach to support the practitioner to assess and treat in a safe manner. This will be demonstrated by discussing case studies and scenarios that commonly present in primary care.​

 

Topics include:

  • Vital signs

  • Urinary Tract Infections

  • Neurology

  • Ear, Nose and Throat

  • Respiratory

  • Sepsis

  • Fever under 5s
