Understanding and Interpreting Blood Results
The aim of the online course is to develop an understanding of common bloods, how to interpret the results in relation to every -day practice and common treatments. The course is ran by an experienced clinician and is suitable for any nurse / AHP that take takes bloods and wonder what the results actually mean! With reference to anatomy and physiology - this course is a great one for relating theory to practice.
This course will cover:

Full Blood Count - including anaemias

Clotting - including anticoagulation

Biochemistry testing

Liver function tests/ Thyroid and diabetes
Course Fees: £60
The course will be delivered in a morning and afternoon session 9-12 then 1-3.30 including regular case studies throughout
The course will be supported by self directed learning including MCQ quiz. The course will give a total of 8 hours CPD ( 5.5 online and 2.5 self directed)
