Pre-assessment for Nurses and ODPs

Led by an experienced pre-assessment sister - ther is a choice of 2 courses available:

1 One day course  looking at 6 core elements of pre-operative assessment.  A perfect introduction for a complex area of nursing,  using up-to-date and evidence based guidance.

All pdf slide pack and competency assessment/ work book will be sent after event

​Attendance at this online update can be counted as six hours towards your revalidation:

  • 3 hours participatory learning

  • 3 hours self-directed study

What are the fundamentals of pre assessment- it’s not just obs and swabs!

  • Cardiac risk assessment - ECG/ECHO/ chest pain /AF
