The course would be aimed at beginners.

By the end the learner should feel confident in the basics of ABG interpretation.

The course will give you 4 hours CPD, 90 minutes online and 2.5 hours self directed study

This course will cover:

  • Why we take ABG’s and how.

  • Recognising type one and type two respiratory failure.

  • Recognising and understanding respiratory acidosis/alkalosis

  • Recognising and understanding metabolic acidosis/alkalosis
